Forensic Investigations Canada Inc. (FIC) was founded in 1998 and is Canada’s leading national private investigative services company.

From our head office in Edmonton, Alberta, we coordinate a network of offices and operatives in every major city in Canada, as well as investigators and professional affiliates in strategic locations throughout North America, Asia and Europe.

FIC has grown through reputation and results, and we measure our success by our proven ability to work closely with our clients — whether individual, corporation, law firm or insurance company — to help them understand our methodology, and keep them informed of our progress every step of the way. We have built our success on an individual, per-file basis, and believe we are only as good as our last assignment.

FIC designed and built an online software system called iForensics, which enables our clients to track their file progress in real time — 24/7. Clients are provided with a secure login to the web-based system, through which they can access their files, read operative reports, and make informed and effective decisions, steering the investigation with constant updates. FIC investigators also benefit from iForensics: logging in to update their progress on an as-needed basis. This comprehensive team effort substantially improves results and enhances performance, ensuring a seamless flow of up-to-the-minute information for clients and investigators alike.

We have also developed an internal auditing process. This process is conducted on each file to ensure quality and performance standards are maintained, and where possible, improved. This process results in a set of uniform standards and practices, which we implement on a national level to maintain continuity of service from one region to the next.
